QuestAir to showcase prototype hydrogen purifier at 2004 Fuel Cell Seminar
BURNABY, B.C. - QuestAir Technologies Inc. is exhibiting at the 2004 Fuel Cell Seminar, in San Antonio, Texas, the largest gathering of hydrogen and fuel cell developers and suppliers in the world. At the show, QuestAir will showcase a prototype of its H-3300 hydrogen purifier, the company's latest product under development for small capacity hydrogen generation systems.
The QuestAir H-3300 is targeted at developers and manufacturers of hydrogen generation systems for small capacity industrial uses such as generator cooling, as well as hydrogen fueling demonstration projects and fuel cell test systems. QuestAir is seeking to place a limited number of prototype units with qualified customers, and interested parties are invited to view QuestAir's prototype H-3300 at the QuestAir booth #607 on the tradeshow floor.
The H-3300 incorporates QuestAir's proprietary Pressure Swing Adsorption ("PSA") process and rotary valve technology, and will offer a compact and low cost hydrogen purification solution for small capacity hydrogen generation systems. The H-3300 has the capability to purify hydrogen generated from a range of "reforming" technologies, including partial oxidation ("POx"), autothermal reforming ("ATR") and steam methane reforming ("SMR") systems. The H-3300 has a hydrogen product capacity of up to 20 normal cubic meters per hour (Nm 3 /h), at hydrogen product purities of 99.999% or greater.
